This former bank building located on Highland Avenue in downtown Marfa was renovated over a six-month period to create spaces to work on architecture and design projects. The building contains early paintings and drawings as well as plans for architectural projects. An extensive art and furniture collection is installed throughout the rooms of the two-story structure. Eichholteren is a former hotel and restaurant located on a lakeside site near Kussnacht am Rigi, Switzerland. Judd used it as a home and studio beginning in 1987. He began renovation of the original 1943 structure in 1989, working step by step, from the top story to the bottom, until 1993, when the project was completed. Judd did not own the building and it was sold shortly after his death in 1994.
